What is a Long-Term Acute Care Hospital? Why is it so important?
Keynote Speaker: Dr. John J. Votto, D.O., President and Chief Executive Officer, Chief of Staff at
Hospital for Special Care (HSC) in New Britain. Dr. Votto is an osteopathic
physician, practicing pulmonology at HSC. Dr. Votto is on the Board of Directors
of the National Association for Long-Term Hospitals, and chairs the
group’s Physicians and Criteria Committees. He is Vice Chairman of the
American Lung Association of CT, and a member of their consortium.
