Topic will be: Hospital Profiling/Quality Report

Laurie Case is an Assistant Director for the Clinical Insights Department at CIGNA HealthCare. Her current focus is on physician and hospital profiling initiatives which include investigating ways to measure physician quality and efficiency. She has background in measuring provider efficiency and quality performance using claim data and severity adjusted methodologies such as Episode Treatment Groups (ETGs), and publicly available data on hospitals.

In addition to working with vendors that partner with CIGNA HeallthCare, Laurie's role involves delivering profiling related applications to internal CIGNA partners in the areas of Medical Management, Contracting and Provider Services. She represents CIGNA on the NCQA Efficiency Measurement Advisory Panel Laurie is a graduate of Connecticut College and serves on the Board of Trustees for the Simsbury United Methodist Church.
